The Four Friends is inspired by a favourite fable from the Himalayas, an enchanting story of an elephant, a monkey, a rabbit and a bird who find ways to overcome their differences and find happiness.

With stories, music and shadows this beautiful, warm-hearted play is designed to entertain and encourage young children with reference to harmonious collaboration and environmental awareness.

Who is that squelching through the jungle?
Where is that whistling coming from?
Does the wise old man really know the secret of happiness?
Can the mischevious monkey stay still?
Look under the tree and find out!

Storytellers Marion Leeper and Rowan Wylie have collaborated with designer Salli Hipkiss and musician Matthew Warman to develop a new version of this ancient story which will bring pleasure to all age groups, designed specifically for Key Stage 1.

The Crow Show is grateful for Arts Council funding for this project.
